4. EXPERIENCE
We are one of the leading companies with respect to the issue of construction certificates and occupation certificates. For example, did you know that we registered the first Construction Certificate with Sutherland Shire Council at the start of the Private Certification system back in 1999. We have the expertise and qualifications, but most importantly, we have the experience. We have issued a total of 1000 Construction Certificates and 1000 Occupation Certificates. We have an excellent reputation with Local Councils because we co-operate with them, which is important for your peace of mind as well as ours. 5. THOROUGH DOCUMENTATION
The most common feedback we are receiving from our clients is "I love working with Accredited Certifiers. As a builder, it is so important that I thoroughly understand my Certifiers requirements right from the start. This way there are no surprises when Accredited Certifiers comes out onto site. He can check all the required building code safety requirements on the spot, because I know what to expect. This is great, because it helps me to be more efficient which leads to cost savings for everyone.
We achieve this through:
- Automatic submission of copies of our documents to Council for you so you don't need to do it.
- Accredited Certifiers provide fully detailed building inspection checklists on site at the time of inspection
- Providing quality, clear directions to the builders and site foremen.
- Providing timely professional and easy to understand requirements for the issue of the Occupation Certificate. This stage is critical, for four crucial reasons: To ensure the building is suitable for Occupation, To move into the building, to sell the building, and to comply with Council requirements.

6. QUALITY ASSURANCE
Our philosophy is simple when it comes to quality assurance, and is summed up most accurately by Glen Walters, founder and Managing Director:
"As a qualified Health and Building Surveyor, with a passion for contributing towards better quality construction, I've always had an important philosophy close to my heart: - I don't concentrate on becoming the biggest, I concentrate on becoming the best, and I'm becoming the biggest anyway” And I've found this has worked really well for me since I started the Company.
Ok. But how exactly do we achieve quality assurance:
- Ever since starting the Company, we have had through, up to date, compliant checklists to ensure we comply with all our statutory responsibilities as Certifiers.
- We hold regular round table meetings of intense dialogue, continually innovating, testing and improving our systems. Our constant challenge is to keep up with the rapidly changing building codes, and translating the often technical and confusing building laws into simple language which is easier to understand for everyone.
- If you read building regulations such as the Building Code of Australia, you will immediately become aware of its often vague, ambiguous and difficult to understand terminology. This is where we excel, in translating the obscurity into digestible user friendly language.

7. TIMELINESS
The famous saying "Time is money" has never been more relevant in today's complex world of property development. And it is literally the ability, quality of service and communication skills of the Accredited Certifier who can make or break the timeliness of the project. Together with our professionalism, timeliness is our primary key indicator of whether we are delivering service to our customer.
Glen Walters sums it up this way:

We are currently leading the way in operation terms with respect to the following:
- Service delivery - It takes us approximately 48 hrs to issue a Construction Certificate, Complying Development Certificate, and Occupation Certificate after we receive our requested information
- Automatic submission of all required documents to Council on the next day the Certificates are issued,
- Buildings inspections carried out on time, within 48 hrs of booking.

8. PEACE OF MIND
We acknowledge you may have used Council or another of our Private Sector Competitors with seemingly little problem. The project may have ran smoothly.
