It is completed when you have installed all your fire safety services by a qualified installer who should give you a certificate that the installation has been carried out to the Australian Standard. The Fire Safety Certificate must be with EBC before you occupy your building. |

You must ensure a qualified person such as an architect or engineer nominates the fire safety services in accordance with the Building Code of Australia. |

This form is to be completed and signed and submitted to EBC when you want to occupy your building. Before this, EBC will need to do a final inspection to ensure the building has been built consistently with the approved plans, and all structural, hydraulic and fire safety measures have been addressed.
